Part of the Ginger family, our pure Turmeric (Haldi) powder is a deep orange-yellow powder with an aromatic and fragrant slightly peppery taste. Traditionally used as an Indian home remedy in Ayurvedic medicine, Turmeric has anti-oxidant properties, its name is said to derive from Latin terra merita (merited earth).
